E-scenario   |  Reusable Learning Objects |  Usability Testing

the brief

Many organizations struggle to develop products or services that keep up with our world's constant state of change. This program was designed for managers or team leaders at all levels, who are interested in a continuous and iterative product or service development methodology.

The course is a blended delivery course, using both synchronous and asynchronous training. The mandate was to build a scenario-based reusable module that immersed the learner in a real-life situation, increase engagement and build capacity.

Aligning objectives & stakeholders

Working with a design document allows us to work together on common goals, organize and deliver thoughts to stakeholders consistently, and ensure that design decisions satisfy the business needs.

Using flowcharts I was able to map out the interactions, flows, and tasks users would need to accomplish throughout the learning journey. The flow chart also allows for clear visual communication of the plan with stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Storyboard

An important step for visually communicating how a course should be developed. By including details such as branding standards and templates, graphics, and visual examples. on-screen text, audio, and programming notes - the team can effectively collaborate to build out a complete business prototype.

Questionnaire Development & Interview

Once the prototype was usable, we start back from the beginning. Using our original goals and objectives we craft a questionnaire, recruit participants, perform interviews and collect feedback. This process is paramount in uncovering problems, discovering opportunities and learning about user behaviors and expectations.
